OneWeb gehört zu den Unternehmen, die in naher Zukunft schnelleres Internet auch in die deutsche Provinz bringen werden. Denn OneWeb plant, 600 Satelliten für weltweiten Internetzugang in Orbit zu bringen.

Das wird natürlich nur für Netflix-Konsum und ähnliches hervorragend funktionieren, weil der schnelle Download via Satellit kommen wird. Der Upload, also das Interagieren mit den Websites und Apps muss weiterhin auf dem Boden der traurigen deutschen Tatsachen stattfinden. Deshalb wird Satelliten-Internet wohl eher keine Lösung für das deutsche infrastrukturelle Wirtschaftsproblem darstellen.

Ein weiteres Indiz dafür, wie groß die Veränderungen in naher Zukunft im Transportsektor sein werden.
