Imgur übersteigt damit sogar Reddit um ein Vielfaches. (Boulevard-)Medien wie Bild.de konkurrieren bei den Werbeplätzen auch mit Anbietern wie Imgur. Das sei nur erwähnt, falls irgendjemand glaubt, es würde irgendwann für Massenmedien wieder einfacher auf dem Werbemarkt.
