Tim Westergren, Gründer und CEO von [Pandora](http://www.pandora.com/), schreibt auf Quora [auf die Frage, wie viele Songs Pandora in seiner Datenbank hat](http://www.quora.com/How-many-songs-are-in-Pandoras-database/answer/Tim-Westergren):

> There are now over 900,000 songs in our collection, from over 90,000 artists. And it is a point of great pride for us that over 95% of those songs played on the service in July.

Das ist ein bemerkenswert aktiver Long Tail auf dem personalisierbaren, auf dem "Music Genome" basierenden Musikdienst.

Pandora ist aktuell nur in den USA verfügbar. Der Dienst ging im Juni dieses Jahres an die Börse.
