Amüsant: Mario Sixtus [vergleicht](http://sixtus.cc/hat-schirrmacher-eigentlich-beim-unabomber-ab) Schirrmachers Payback-Aussagen mit den technophoben Ausführungen des Unabombers.

In dem Zusammenhang interessant: Kevin Kelly hat sich 2009 sehr ausführlich [mit den Aussagen des Unabombers auseinandergesetzt](http://www.kk.org/thetechnium/archives/2009/02/the%5Funabomber%5Fw.php):

> The Unabomber is right that technology is a holistic, self-perpetuating machine. He is wrong to bomb it for many reasons, not the least is that the machine of civilization offers us more actual freedoms than the alternative.
