Merchandise listings within Spotify link to your existing merchandise anywhere on the web. That means that you don’t need to change how you sell merchandise, the Spotify listing simply points to your existing store.
First, you’ll need to create a Topspin ArtistLink account. When creating the account you’ll be asked which artists you wish to manage using the account. To ensure that only official representatives of an artist can manage the band Topspin will require you to verify your relationship to the artist either by connecting one of the artist’s social media accounts or by emailing Topspin.
Once you have been verified you can create your listing simply by adding an image, a title and a description alongside a URL to the item of merchandise in your store. Each listing will be moderated and approved to make sure it’s a legitimate merchandise offer. Once approved, the listing will show up on your artist page in Spotify, typically within 24 to 28 hours.
Currently only users in the following english speaking countries will see merchandise listings within Spotify: U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland. We plan to roll our additional language support in the future. However, if you are an artist from a country that is not listed here you can still add your merchandise to Spotify and it will be shown in these countries.
